Open Positions

BOARD OF DIRECTOR OPEN POSITIONS

Board of Director positions are a 3 year term.

 

All Director Positions are currently filled for the 2020 season.  There will be 5 open board positions that will become available in November 2021. We are looking for candidates interested in those roles now so that we can spend the next several months training / knowledge transfer the role to the next person for an easy, smooth transition.

President, Travel Director
Secretary
Concessions Director
In House Director (Minors, Majors & Babe Ruth)
Tournament Director 

COORDINATOR ROLE POSITIONS

Coordinator Role Positions are a one year commitment.

 

T-Ball Coordinator – Responsible for the T-Ball program activities throughout the summer. Onsite representative to support parents and coaches throughout the season. Provides input into the program and In-House Director to improve the program and experience for our youngest players. This is considered a progressive role that as your players move up in the program, you could advance as a coordinator to the next level.
 
Coach Pitch Coordinator
- Responsible for the Coach Pitch program activities throughout the summer. Onsite representative to support parents and coaches throughout the season. Provides input into the program and In-House Director to improve the program and experience for our youngest players. This is considered a progressive role that as your players move up in the program, you could advance as a coordinator to the next level.
 

Babe Ruth League Coordinator – Responsible for the Babe Ruth League program activities throughout the summer. Onsite representative to support parents and coaches throughout the season. Provides input into the program and In-House Director to improve the program and experience for our older players. This is considered a progressive role that as your players move up in the program, you could advance as a coordinator to the next level.
 

Volunteer Coordinator – Collaborates with the Volunteer Director on all volunteer opportunities throughout the season for the baseball program games/tournaments and Cedar Lake Speedway 50/50 raffle volunteering to ensure staffing of events. Collaborates with the Team Managers and families in the NRBC program that have volunteer requirements that support the NRBC program throughout the season.
 

DIBS Volunteer Coordinator – responsible for all online DIBS management to create, modify and complete all DIBS shifts throughout the baseball season. Collaborates with the Volunteer Director to manage the volunteer requirements, provides input into the process to improve it and also collaborates with families that have questions regarding their DIBS requirements.
 

Fundraising Tournament Coordinator – Responsible for partnering with the Fundraising director on activities within the community to secure business sponsorships surrounding our tournament weekends for the travel program and in-house program. The fundraising efforts would assist with financial assistance for the Dugout Club (baseball scholarships), equipment expenses, field/light/water expenses, and community project improvements.
 

Fundraising Community Coordinator – Responsible for partnering with the Fundraising director on activities within the community to secure business sponsorships that assist the NRBC program with financial assistance for the Dugout Club (baseball scholarships), equipment expenses, field/light/water expenses, and community project improvements.
 

Social Media Coordinator – Responsible for the NRBC Facebook page to post events,  communications, cancellations, important information, sponsorships and program recognitions on our social media platform. This person is also responsible to ensure all information on the FB page is kept up to date. This role closely monitors comments, inquiries and messages to answer questions or directs open items to a board member for appropriate responses as necessary.
