In House Baseball Dibs

In House Volunteer Requirements

There are no volunteer requirements for In House T-ball, Coach Pitch or Machine Pitch.

If you have a child playing in the Minors In House programs, we require 6 hours total of volunteer service tracked in Dibs per child.

If you have a child playing in the Majors In House programs, we require 8 hours total of volunteer service tracked in Dibs per child.

If you have a child playing in the Babe Ruth In House programs, we require 10 hours total of volunteer service tracked in Dibs per child.

There is not a buyout option available for In House baseball families.  At the end of the season, if a family has not completed their DIBS hours, they will be invoiced $25 per missed hour.

All In House baseball team families work Dibs volunteer sessions throughout the season.  Volunteer coverage is needed at Community Baseball Night, Baseball Weekend, and in-house home games, concessions, end of season tournament weekends and other fundraising events scheduled throughout the season.  Dibs shifts may also be scheduled to support the end of season event for T-Ball\Coach Pitch.

Dibs shifts are scheduled to be filled based on home game schedules and the need for covering concessions, field chalk and prep and scoreboards as well as other areas as needed. Concessions bring in money for the baseball program and are the most critical shifts to have volunteers to cover.

Families that have a child age 11+ can work dibs volunteer shifts as long as they are working the same shift at the same location (ex: concession sales) alongside their guardian/parents.

Those baseball families who have a traveling player registered as well as an in house player will only work the traveling volunteer requirements.
